Buses to Blanes from Barcelona city centre: The Sagáles/Sarfa company travels regularly, everyday from bus station Estación del Norte (Estació del Nord) in Barcelona to Blanes and stops at almost every coastal town along the way.

Buses to Blanes from Barcelona Airport: There is no direct service from Barcelona Airport to Blanes unless, that is, you hire a private form of transport.
From Barcelona Airport you first have to travel to Barcelona city centre. It is advisable to go by train to Blanes (see below) as relying solely on the bus service can be quite a long winded process. However, it may be useful to know that the following option is available: Take the Aerobus A1 bus for approx. €3.75 from the airport into Barcelona and then take another bus from Barcelona Estació del Nord bus station to Blanes (see above, from Barcelona city centre). This, however, is a fairly long winded process as the airport bus unfortunately does not stop at Estació del Norte bus station, meaning that you have to take the underground, Metro (M) to get there. This is why the train option is quicker.
