Beaches

The Costa Brava boasts wonderful beaches and coves. There are hundreds of different beaches along the Costa Brava North and Costa Brava South. They stretch from the most nothern point of the Costa Brava to the city at the far south - Blanes with its attractive beaches of Blanes.  

You can visit lots of wonderful places on the Costa Brava.

Take a trip to Cap de Creus and spend a weekend at the secluded beaches of Roses, for example at Cala Joncols in the town of Roses you can go diving in the middle of the natural parc Cap de Creus. 

If you prefer long sandy beaches we recommend you to head to Empuriabrava and Sant Pere Pescador. They are ideal for surfing and kitesurfing, but you will also always find a place to relax. Further information can be found under Sant Pere Pescador beaches and beach Empuriabrava.

If you prefer vibrant nightlife and clubs yous should not miss Lloret de Mar that even though you wouldn't think it, has a series of secluded beaches like Cala Morisca and nudist beaches like Cala Frares.

Other typical beaches of the Costa Brava are Cala Treumal or the beach Playa de Blanes. 

If you like natural spaces you could visit the botanical garden of Blanes Mar i Murtra that offers stunning views over the coast.

Do you want to visit a well preserved medieval old-town? Then head to Tossa de Mar.

Cultural Heritage

If you want to spend your holidays in the small town of Escala do not miss the opportunity to visit the ruins and beaches of Ampurias. Or make a day trip to  Besalu and walk around the natural parc of Garrotxa. On your way back, head to Figueres and visit  the most impressive surrealistic gallery - The Dali Museum.
