Calpe is an old fishing town full of history, tradition and culture. Its Mediaeval streets are intertwined among new hotel complexes and apartments geared towards the numerous tourists that visit the town every year.

Archaeological Museum

Currently, remains from the Iberian era and Middle Ages found in Calpe and the surrounding area are on display. The museum was built upon the grounds where "El Portalet" was found - the old access gate to the walled city.

Museo del Coleccionismo - Collector's museum

Located inside the tower Torreón de la Peça, here you can see different exhibitions and workshop, which are frequently changed.

Museo Etnológico - Ethnological museum

The museum has several rooms where you can learn about economic activities of yesteryear, such as winemaking, fishing, agriculture or metal forging.
