Balcón del Mediterráneo
On top of this lookout point there used to be a castle, of which only some remains of the walls still stand today. This was the fort which prevented attacks from Algerian and Berber pirates from the 14th to the 16th century. It can be found on the rock outcrop that divides the two biggest beaches, Playa de Poniente and Playa de Levante.
