Ideal beach in the Cap de Salou area

Playa Llarga is like a beach from a movie. It is over 600 m long and between 25 and 70 metres wide and has fine, light golden sand. The water at the shore is shallow. In the middle of the beach there is a rocky outcrop which divides Playa Llarga. You can go around the sides of the rock and if not, stay in its shade, be it on the sand or in the water.

On the beach there are pathways between garden terraces with lush vegetation. At the southernmost end of Playa Llarga, heading towards the centre of Salou, you can find a small path with some steps leading steeply up to the rocks of the cape Cap de Salou where its trees provide shade. From there you can enjoy great views in both directions and, above all, out to sea.

Facilities / services: Red Cross, showers, sand cleaned daily, restaurants close by (at the northern end of the beach).

How to get there:
- South-west end: Drive to the end of C./ Vendrell. Beyond the bend, there is a small road (Camí de Ronda) that runs along the beach. From there you can go down steps to the southern end of Playa Llarga.
- Northern end: Coming from the avenue Av. del Pla de Maset turn at the roundabout onto the avenue Av. del Cap de Salou. Continue to the next roundabout. This is where Camí de Ronda starts for pedestrians and cyclists, who can continue alongside the road to Playa Llarga. If you come by car, you can continue after the roundabout as far as the road C./ dels Replanells.
