Playa dels Capellans
A beautiful, small beach in the east of Salou
Situated in a cove and just 200 m long, Playa dels Capellans, surprisingly, has a lot of room for visitors due to the fact that it is 80 – 100m wide. Many people come to this beach from the apartment buildings on top of the rocks around the cove.
The beach is normally very busy, especially during the high season. Playa del Capellans is clean and well-kept with fine, golden sand, just like the other beaches in Salou. The water is perfect for bathers, as the seabottom slopes gradually.
Facilities / services: Red Cross, toilets, showers, disabled access, sand cleaned daily, excellent water quality (blue flag), restaurants
How to get there: To reach the beach access point you have to go down the steep incline on the road C./ de la Gavina until you reach the northern end of Playa dels Capellans.
Parking: There are only a few parking spaces on the streets C./ de Roger de Llúria and C./ de la Gavina. The residents have their own parking spaces in private car parks.
