A unos 3,5 km al sur de Lloret de Mar hallamos la Playa Santa Cristina. Con sus casi 450 m de longitud y 30 metros de anchura esta playa es la hermana mayor de la adyacente Cala Treumal, perteneciente al municipio de Blanes.

Those who are not impartial to the tennis courts built into the beach can enjoy a sporting day on the beach and take advantage of the variety of activities on offer, such as diving. Cala  or Playa Santa Cristina remains largely untouched and boasts a hinterland lined with trees. It is, however, fully equipped with lifeguards, showers and restaurants in natural surroundings. An unpaved pathway leads approx. 150 m down a slope onto the beach (this access route might cause problems for the elderly or those who have mobility problems) From the Ermita Santa Cristina Chapel above the beach you can enjoy a wonder ful view out onto Playa Santa Cristina and the smaller, neighbouring Playa  Treumal beach which is part to the Blanes region.

Also recommended, in combination with a visit to the beach, is a trip to the  Pinya de Rosa gardens, located approx. 400 m away, which also belong to Blanes.
