The nudist beach in Barcelona Playa de Sant Sebastia lies at the southern end of Barceloneta and like its neighbouring beach it is also covered in golden sand and is 1.1 km long.
It is one of two nudist beaches in Barcelona, the other one is calles Mar Bella and is located north of the Olympic harbour.
Like all other beaches in Barcelona, Playa de Sant Sebastia offers everything that you can expect from a city beach: showers, toilets, lifeguard stations, etc. Like Barceloneta beach, Playa de Sant Sebastià is also one of the most traditional beaches in Barcelona, something which is reflected in the high number of local visitors. Barcelona’s surf community meets here when the swell is good. At the southern end of the beach there is a nudist area.

Art:

On the beach you can see the box sculpture L´Estel Ferit (wounded star) by German artist Rebecca Horn, which aims to remind us of the restaurants and beach huts that were here in the 1980s, before the cityscape changed in the course of the preparations for the Olympic games in 1992.

Cable car/Teleferico and bicycle hire:
From the large promenade at the back of the nudist area you soon reach the starting point of the cable car which takes you to Montjuic, the ‘teleferico’. When you cross the road you can find two bicycle hire companies in the street Juan de Borbón.

Restaurants and beach bars at nudist beach Barcelona Playa de Sant Sebastia:

At Playa de Sant Sebastià there are fewer restaurants on the seafront than at Playa de la Barceloneta: At the northern end, on the street Almirall Cervera, Restaurant Salamanca offers you a good, relatively cheap paella for around €13, as well as tasty fish and meat dishes, which you can enjoy along with the sea views.
However, here there are all the more beach bars – ‘chiringuitos’ – most of them located north of the nudist part (from north to south): Princesa 23, Chiringuito Beach Club Goa, Chiringuito del Sol.
