Although Empuriabrava is a place where holidaymakers can relax, the city has a lively party scene: clubs, discos, bars, table dance clubs and other amusements. Most local party-goers in Empuriabrava really paint the town red. Many holidaymakers from close-by Roses and Sant Pere Pescador also come to Empuriabrava to party. The bars and restaurants are located in the Zona los Arcos (arches area) in the centre of Empuriabrava. Most discos are in Puigmal close to the C-260 (C-68), which runs from Figueres to Roses and the airport.
At the weekend, local party-goers swear by the following programme: SeekIn before going on to a disco. There you'll find live music and a restaurant.
Disco programme: Friday evening at Viva, where drinks (copas) come at prices rare in Central Europe and even in Spain: about 1 € each. On Saturdays, when there’s usually more partying than on Fridays, the choice is great: many people also go to Viva as well or to Pacha, frequented by those who go to see and be seen, and also to Chic in Roses.
Some discos are also open during the week, so there’s partying enough, especially during the summer months.
However, you don’t necessarily have to go to bars, clubs or discos to have a good time in Empuriabrava. There are concerts and festivals all year round, especially in the harbour area and in the old town of Castelló d'Empúries.
