Fenals

Playa Fenals is a 700 m long beach and the second biggest beach in Lloret de Mar after Playa Lloret ; the sand of Playa Fenals is coarse and the water is mostly crystal clear as the sea is usually relatively calm.

Playa Fenals lies south of Lloret de Mar in a protected cove which is gradually being eroded due the town’s expansion; apartments and housing blocks line the northern half of the beach, the southern part  remains more or less untouched. Directly above the beach there is a beautiful pine wood with quiet pathways and trails which are perfect for hiking or jogging.

A variety of watersports are offered here: Waterskiing, parasailing, jetskiing, windsurfing, diving trips etc. Playa Fenals offers all the facilities of a developed beach: showers, lifeguards, disabled access, sunbed/parasol hire, beach volleyball courts etc.

Along the promenade of Playa Fenals there are a number of kiosks as well as several restaurants and nice bars (the ones at the southern end are particularly stylish). It is calm here and not so overcrowded compared to Playa Lloret, but it is still relatively lively.

The Jardines de Santa Clotilde gardens are situated close to the beach.
