Cala Treumal

At approximately 100 metres long, Cala Treumal is a relatively small beach. It lies beneath the Pinya de Rosa botanic garden (approx. 300 metre footpath) and is the most northerly beach in the urban region of Blanes.

Directly connected, separated only by a rock, lies the somewhat bigger Playa Santa Cristina beach, which belongs to Lloret de Mar. The Ermita Santa Cristina pilgrimage church towers above both beaches.

This unspoilt, picturesque, sandy beach can be very crowded on weekends during July and August. Food and drink are served at the beach restaurant.

Access: Cala Treumal

Distance to centre of Blanes: 4km

By car: take the GI 682; 4km from Blanes and 3.5km from Lloret de Mar, exit at sign for Cala Santa Cristina

Parking: chargeable car-park at Playa Santa Cristina (approx. €6 for cars, approx. €3 for motorcycles- daily flat rate). Free parking can be found at the car park of the Pinya de Rosa botanic garden but is available to garden visitors only. It is well worth a visit.
