Cala Sant Francesc beach, also called Cala Bona, is a fully developed sandy beach which is very popular among the locals. The beach is made of fine sand and is approximately 200 metres long – it is fully developed: there is a lifeguard as well as a snack bar and restaurant, both reasonably priced and of good quality.
You can stretch your legs on the northbound footpath (the Camí de Ronda,the Costa Brava ’s former battlements) which winds its way along the coves and steep coasts. From here you can enjoy the magnificent view.

En dirección a . A unos 100 m antes de llegar al letrero de salida del municipio de Blanes, siga el rótulo " Urbanització Cala Sant Francesc " y gire a la derecha.
Alternativa:
Detrás del puerto, coja la calle Passeig de Carles Faust, pasando por el Jardín Botánico , y siga medio kilómetro por la misma calle.

Head towards Lloret de Mar. Approx. 100 metres before the exit sign for Blanes, follow the sign “ Urbanització Cala Sant Francesc ” round to the right.
Alternatively:
Drive up the Passeig de Carles Faust behind the harbour, past the Mar i Murtra botanic garden and continue up the same road for about 500 metres.
Parking: Free parking is available on the street above the beach. At weekends during July and August it can be difficult to get hold of one of the many free parking spaces. Alternatively, you can park for the whole day down by the beach for around €5.
Public transport: Take the no.3 bus from Plaça Catalunya (the roundabout opposite the Sa Palomera Peninsula) or from the harbour to the stop called Cala Bona (the stop after the Mar i Murtra botanic garden). The bus runs approximately every 15-30 minutes (April-November). Price: One way approx. €1.10; Return approx. €1.90
In summer the tourist mini-train, Carrilet turístic, runs from the camping district, on the outskirts, along to Cala Sant Francesc (approx. €2.70 Return)
