Cala Llevado, also referred to as Cala Llevado, is a fairytale beach on the Costa Brava. The small cove, 60 metres long, is hidden in a pine forest and in the morning sunshine the water is a beautiful turquoise.
The flat, coarse, sandy beach is an attraction for families with children. In the cove there are several rock formations which snorklers enjoy exploring. There are no services or amenities such as showers or beach bar, however the neighbouring Cala Carles beach is more developed and only a 2 minute walk away.
Access: Cala Llevado
Distance from the centre of Tossa de Mar 3km
By foot: Cala Llevado is only 7 minutes away from the camp site Cala Llevado. The neighbouring beach Cala Carles is only 2-3 minutes away from Cala Llevado.
By car: from Tossa de Mar take the GI-682 in the direction of Lloret de Mar. After approx. 3 kilometres you will see a sign for the Llevador camping. Take the entrance to the camping site, turn off to the right, drive past the pool and at the end, turn left towards the beach. You will come to a small courtyard with free parking. You have two options here: on the left hand side is a barrier manned with a guard, on the right is a road into which no entry is permitted. In both directions, access is restricted to guests of the campsite. The road to the left leads to Cala Llevado, the road to the right leads to Cala Llorell. Between them are two more small beaches which are inaccessible by car: Cala Figuera and Cala Carles.
Parking: either in the car park mentioned above in front of the camping site (a further 15 minute walk to Cala Llevado), otherwise, try talking the guard round then drive through the barrier down to the beach and park there.
