The Cala Gran, the "big cove", is a very small bay, despite its name. It lies behind private housing and is really only difficult to find. Due to the shallowness of the water here and the stony surface, it is not particularly suitable for bathing.

Distance from the centre of Lloret de Mar : 3,3 km
By car: From Lloret de Mar take the GI-682 in the direction of Tossa de Mar . Approx.1 km after the Lloret exit sign take the exit " Camping Canyelles/Cala Canyelles " and turn left before the Caprabo supermarket. Follow signs for "Urbanització La Tortuga" and "Golf". Continue straight ahead following the sign for "La Llevantina Golf". Continue past the golf course (a long fence on the right hand side) and after the fence, but before the restaurant Trull, turn right. At the end of the street behind the houses is the small beach Cala Gran. It is best to ask someone for directions otherwise you will find yourself searching aimlessly.
