Cala Carles is ideal for sunbathing and snorkelling. The highly coarse sand means the water is nearly always clear and clean.
There is a good beach bar selling drinks and snacks, also frequented by visitors to the neighbouring Cala Llevado and Cala Figuera beaches, which, unlike Cala Carles have no bars, showers or WCs.
At a length of 125 metres, Cala Carles has space for a large number of visitors and is seldom overcrowded even during peak season. It is a pity that some people ignore the thoroughfare ban and persist in driving their cars over the coast road from Cala Llevado right onto the beach.
Even so, the beach has everything you need to enjoy a great day by the sea : peace, crystal clear water and above all, beautiful scenery.
