The small bay meanders in from the open sea for a distance of about 75 metres to a stony beach. For this reason it is ideal for snorklers who want to practise their sport in completely natural surroundings. However, as sand is scarce and large stones plentiful, it is unsuitable for sun lovers.
The surrounding land is lined with a pine forest which runs right down to the sea and the only sign of civilisation is a small beach bar ("Chringuito" in Spanish) which is only open during peak season. Due to the fact that access to the beach is difficult - a 5 minute walk over a steep, slippery unpaved path - not many visitors come here.
