Beautiful beach set in picturesque surroundings, partly used by naturists. Despite being relatively small (250 m long) it is worth a visit due to its peaceful atmosphere. You can access Cala Boadella across a partially hidden 200 m long footpath through a pinewood which may well contribute to the beach’s low number of visitors. Naturism may be practised in the northern part of the beach between the rocks. There is a nice beach bar and some showers. In contrast to Lloret de Mar’s main beach Playa Lloret, a leisurely, peaceful atmosphere presides here.
The beach is made of fine-grain sand and in a northerly direction there are a couple of easily accessible cliffs which are particularly popular among the gay community. Behind the pine woods there are several residential blocks which are by no means detrimental countryside and are not visible at all from the beach. Within a few minutes you can reach the Jardins de Santa Clotilde gardens situated above the beach Cala Boadella.

Head in the direction of Blanes. Just before the exit sign for Lloret de Mar, follow the sign for "Jardins Sta. Clotilde" and "Cala Boadella" to the left.
Alternatively:
At the southern end of the main beach Playa Lloret, continue southbound (go straight on at the roundabout up the mountain heading to the Castell Sant Joan). Then follow signs to the Jardins de Sta. Clotilde gardens. Once you reach the gardens, the beach will be signposted. The path down to the beach starts off in a small pinewood which begins next to the entrance for the Jardins de Santa Clotilde.
Parking: There are plenty of free parking spaces, even during peak season. Just park on the neighbouring street and take the footpath down to the beach.
Public transport: In summer the tourist mini-train Carrilet Turístic leaves from the promenade of the mainbeach in Lloret de Mar Playa Lloret to the nearby Jardins de Santa Clotilde gardens. Depending on the train departure times you can combine this visit with a trip to the beach. Route 4, adult return approx. 10 €, children approx. 8 €.
