Empuriabrava airport may appear unprepossessing at first glance, but it draws skydivers from all over Europe. Believe it or not, with 125,000 jumps per year, Empuriabrava is one of the leading skydiving centres in the world. The ideal conditions and wonderful background scenery have certainly contributed to its success.
The airport provides an opportunity for experienced and inexperienced jumpers to skydive over the unique backdrop of the Bay of Roses. Scenic flights along the coast and over the wonderful nature reserves in the region are offered at Empuriabrava airport.

If you don’t care for flying, you can watch the planes take off over head from the end of the runway or just follow the brave skydivers from ground level. Also an experience!
